“Is What We Learned About the Solar System in School True or Just a Lie?”🤔

We have been taught in schools that the sun is at the centre of the solar system and planets orbit around it in circular paths
Isn’t!!!
This astronomical model is the heliocentric (sun centered) model also known as copernican model. The heliocentric model is the astronomical theory that places the Sun at the center of the solar system, with the Earth and other planets revolving around it. This model contrasts with the geocentric model, which positioned the Earth at the center of the universe.

Key Features of the Heliocentric Model:

The Sun is at the center: The model asserts that the Sun is the central body, and all the planets, including Earth, orbit it.

Planetary Orbits: Planets move in elliptical orbits, not perfect circles. This was later refined by Kepler.

Earth’s Rotation: The Earth rotates on its axis, which explains the cycle of day and night.

Annual Orbit: Earth orbits the Sun once every 365.25 days, which constitutes a year.

There is another astronomical Geocentric model that talks about celestial body of earth centered system.
A theory of the universe that places the Earth at the center, with the Sun, Moon, stars, and planets orbiting around it. It was the prevailing model for over 1,500 years, but was eventually replaced by the heliocentric model.

Geococentric Model

Key Features of the Geocentric Model:
Earth at the Center: The Earth is stationary and at the center of the universe, with all other celestial bodies moving around it.

Celestial Spheres: In ancient geocentric models, celestial bodies (the Moon, Sun, planets, and stars) were thought to be embedded in transparent, rotating spheres that surrounded the Earth.

Circular Orbits: The orbits of the planets and other celestial bodies were assumed to be perfect circles, as circular motion was considered the most perfect form of motion.

Epicycles: Ptolemy’s model used epicycles—smaller circles—on the planets’ orbits to account for their apparent retrograde motion (when planets appear to move backward in the sky).

Heliocentric.             Geocentric

Now what does quran says ,lets have a look!!😉

  1. Surah An-Naba (78:6-7)
Verse (78:6-7): “Have We not made the earth as a bed,
    And the mountains as pegs?”

supporting the idea that Earth is the center of everything The mountains are likened to “pegs,” which could be interpreted as stabilizers or foundations that prevent the Earth from shaking or moving. The imagery emphasizes the balance and order in the natural world.

  1. Surah Ya-Sin (36:38-40)
Verses (36:38-40): “And the sun runs [on its course] for a term [appointed].
That is the decree of the Exalted in Might, the All-Knowing.
And the moon – We have determined for it phases, until it returns like the old date-stem.
It is not for the sun to overtake the moon, nor does the night outstrip the day. Each, in an orbit, is swimming.”

These verses describe the celestial bodies, the Sun and Moon, and their motions. Both the Sun and the Moon are depicted as following their orbits.

  1. Surah Al-Ambiya (21:33)
Verse (21:33): “It is He who created the night and the day, and the sun and the moon; each floating in an orbit.”

This verse acknowledges God’s creation of the night and day, and the Sun and the Moon. It emphasizes that the Sun and Moon are not stationary but are in motion, floating in their respective orbits.
This verse aligns with the understanding that celestial bodies move in their orbits, a concept that can be related to modern astronomy, where both the Sun and the Moon have specific paths they follow. The wording “floating in an orbit”.

The quran mention that the sun and moon are in motion and the earth is made as a bed
referring to its stability and balance. The quranic verses resembles the geocentric model (earth centered) what the acients believed centuries back.
Quran never mentioned about earth floating in an orbit but its mentioned about the orbiting of sun and moon

There is a group of people who worship sun secretively in mystry.

They worship sun as ultimate deity. Their mission is to weave the doctrine Heliocentrism into the fabric of society by positioning the sun as the centre of the universe.
They aim to enshrine their sun god disguised as science with extremists in central roles they manipulate minds steering humanity towards the heliocentric model.
Each solar centric lesson we take is a subtle nod to their deity.
Their biggest move was rejecting the Earth-centered view, once widely accepted, and adopting the Sun-centered theory instead.
